Union University of California - School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) prepares students for impactful professions and purposeful living in a changing world.
Approvals, Recognition, Membership
UUC is private, non-profit, online university accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), a national accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). UUC is also a full member of the International Council for Higher Education (ICHE).
We are approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) in the State of California for offering academic degrees. Approval means compliance with state standards as set forth in the California Private Postsecondary Act of 2009. The Office of Student Assistance and Relief is available to support prospective students, current students, or past students of private postsecondary educational institutions in making informed decisions, understanding their rights, and navigating available services and relief options. History
The School of Arts and Sciences was established by Union University of California (UUC), a Christian institution founded in 1986.
Since 2004, UUC has offered virtual educational and theology courses globally, breaking language and financial barriers and pioneering online theology education.
UUC focuses on training culturally aware pastors and has educated over 4,000 students serving in more than twenty countries and twenty Christian denominations.
Graduates serve as pastors, bible teachers, and leaders.
UUC has also published over sixty academic books and held hundreds of seminars and workshops worldwide.
